Lindsey Bordner began studying the violin at age 7 after falling in love with fiddle music. She discovered Baroque performance practice and period instruments while pursuing her master’s degrees at the University of Michigan, and subsequently delved into this delightfully “new” world of knowledge and playing style. In addition to the La Grande Bande, Lindsey has performed with Lyra Baroque Orchestra, the Bach Society of Minnesota, and as part of the American Bach Soloists’ summer festival in San Francisco. Lindsey lives in St. Paul and enjoys gardening, playing video games with her husband, and spoiling her 2 dogs in her spare time.
