A French Baroque Christmas (St Paul)*

Join La Grande Bande as we ring-in the holiday season just like Marc-Antoine Charpentier once did in seventeenth-century Paris. With selections written in French and Latin for Mademoiselle de Guise and the Jesuits, La Grande Bande will perform some of Charpentier’s most beloved selections perfectly suited for the Christmas season.

From singing shepherds and announcing angles to raucous noëls and our very own carol-sing—together with all of you joining us in song—we’ll create a holiday event that will become your newest holiday tradition. English translations of sung French and Latin texts will be projected for this performance.
