Event Symbols

We try our best to make sure you have a great time at our concerts and events. 

Here’s a list of symbols you’ve seen and what they mean. 

Large Print Symbol. There are large print programs available at events where this symbol is listed. Please ask one of our volunteers to retrieve one for you. 

Pre-Concert Talk Symbol. This symbol indicates that there will be a Pre-Concert Talk given before the event.

Projection Symbol. This symbol indicates that translations from foreign languages to English will be projected at this event.

Translation Symbol. This symbol indicates that a translation from one language to another. The letters below the globe indicate the original language and the translated language. 

Latin to English Translation. There will be translations of sung Latin texts into English at this event. Unless the Projection Symbol is also present, these translations can be found in your program booklets.

Latin to Spanish Translation. There will be translations of sung Latin texts into English at this event. Unless the Projection Symbol is also present, these translations can be found in your program booklets.

French to English Translation. There will be translations of sung French texts into English at this event. Unless the Projection Symbol is also present, these translations can be found in your program booklets.

Italian to English Translation.There will be translations of sung Italian texts into English at this event. Unless the Projection Symbol is also present, these translations can be found in your program booklets. 

German to English Translation. There will be translations of sung German texts into English at this event. Unless the Projection Symbol is also present, these translations can be found in your program booklets.

Spanish to English Translation. There will be translations of sung Spanish texts into English at this event. Unless the Projection Symbol is also present, these translations can be found in your program booklets.

eProgram Booklet. This symbol indicates that program booklet is available in a downloadable PDF. Click the image to download that event’s program booklet 

English to Spanish Translation. This symbol indicates that program booklets for this event will be available in Spanish.
