Flutist Anita Rieder is equally at home playing modern and historical flutes. Anita studied baroque flute while a Fulbright Scholar in London and earned a Doctor of Music degree in Flute Performance at Northwestern University.  She freelanced with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Staunton Music Festival, Chicago Baroque Ensemble, Newberry Consort, and Haymarket Opera Theatre. Anita performs with the Bach Society of Minnesota and Wayzata Symphony Orchestra. She is an active musician at Trinity Episcopal Church in Excelsior. She thanks her family, friends, and many wise mentors for making tonight’s concert possible.
